When my wife told me she was going to have a shirt made up for me with a
Goldwing, my name and my website on it, I was pretty excited... That is
until I saw the image that they planned on using - it was a poor version of a
1500!
I worked with the embroidery company and had them digitize the image you see
above. The small-scale photographs do not do it justice - the details are
pretty amazing. This design incorporates 13,500 stitches! (I counted
every one)
The stitching is laid out in such a way as to impart texture and depth to the
pattern that you can see when you look at the image closely. The image is
just over 3 3/4" from trunk to wheel and about 2 1/2" from the top of the
antenna/windshield to the bottom of the tires. The intent was to have it
fit nicely over the left chest area on a shirt, and also on the front of a hat.
